Description
This 3 hour course will outline all core aspects of Thematic analysis of safeguarding inspections to date in line with 6 core principles of Empowerment, Proportionality, Accountability, Rights-based approach, Partnership and Prevention in safeguarding. In addition, we will review new HIQA thematic Inspection changes with overview and actions required. Key tips for the safeguarding plan within same and will focus on new inspection document. Core areas addressed to date are medication focused, policy, training, induction, rights and positive risk taking and capacity and capability requirements. Proportionality and all aspects as per 6 principles will be reviewed as part of this and all examples and areas provided in learning from inspections that are completed to date will be provided.
