Description
This short course will review knowledge of the brain, memory and brain health.
It will gain an understanding of Dementia including types, symptoms, risk factors, treatments and supports available to people living with dementia. It will gain an understanding of best practice techniques when communicating with people living with dementia. This course will expand knowledge of non-cognitive symptoms of dementia, identify triggers and solutions. It will also gain an understanding of delirium, recognising symptoms, treating causes and providing non-pharmacological support to patients.
