Overview of the National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities (HIQA, 2013)
This programme provides an overview of the national standards and regulations for designated centres for Adults and Children with a disability. The course will equip nurses with the knowledge of these standards and regulations as well as the different types of inspections carried out and how inspectors make judgments about compliance. This knowledge will assist nurses in implementing standards and regulations and prepare for inspections.
