Mindfulness and meditation practice can bring positive change both personally and professionally. This programme aims to harness the nurse or midwife’s ability to provide holistic care with compassion and to bring positive change in the lives of their patients. Participants will learn techniques for incorporating mindfulness and meditation into their work and daily routine, which will facilitate them to promote stress management and relaxation in their patients. Topics explored during this programme include: the role of mindfulness in holistic care, self-awareness, compassion, holistic communication and the power of stillness of mind.
