Description

This programme will provide nurses who work in the care of the older person setting, whether it be in a nursing home, the community, or a primary care setting with an enhanced understanding of frailty and frailty assessments as a long-term condition; thereby ensuring earlier recognition of frailty and improved healthcare. It will explore the spectrum of frailty and introduce the benefits of the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and the role of validated screening tools.
